As for when Morris needs them by, I am not sure.

I get an error when I click on older news stories.

Yes, the website has been having issues with many pages being 404'd. I'm not sure what the plan to fix it is (either contact Dan or hand admin over to someone else).

For counting words and articles, it's best just to go through the "League News and Articles" forum and find the articles you have done.

We changed the rules on word counting this year so as long as it was over 500 words, no need to worry about being specific on the count.

Sim to start of Rule 5 Draft - 4/23 (This was the most recent sim and was your last chance to protect Rule 5 players)

Tomorrow, the sim will cover the Rule 5 Draft itself.

It was all laid out in the offseason sim schedule and was updated at the top of the forum.

The upcoming sim will be your last chance to set your rosters prior to the Rule 5 Draft.

As in, you needed to protect players by monday's sim, because the draft is in tomorrow's sim - and we have always had a ban on rostering for the Rule 5 sim...

I think the only exception is if you signed someone this past sim and haven't had a chance to stick them on your 40-man roster yet.

I'd like to register a small complaint. I was all ready for the Rule 5 draft--protected some players, made room on my roster to draft four. I waited for the announcement.

It arrived this afternoon while I was at work. The deadline was 8 pm EDT tonight. I got out of class at 6 pm PDT and checked again, only to find the draft had been run without any opportunity for me to make any selections.

I checked in-game last night, but there was no draft pool or order posted for the Rule 5 draft. I just uploaded the latest sim and there's no mention of the Rule 5 draft in-game in this sim either. I have no idea how the draft was conducted or whether anyone else missed the narrow window of opportunity when we could draft.

But that's all water under the proverbial. For future drafts, wouldn't it be reasonable to provide GMs with at least 24 hours access to the draft?

I set room and had two guys listed that I wanted but, under transaction i do not see that anyone was drafted at all?

We had between the time the Saturday, post-Winter Meeting sim was run and Monday's sim to protect players from rule 5 and clear up space on the 40-man roster.

We had between Monday's sim and today's to set a draft list from the pool, which was displayed after monday's sim, with the draft happening today.

If you didn't import monday's file, then you would have missed the list, and if you then just downloaded today's file, then you missed the chance to set a list and draft.

We did have the chance to set our Rule 5 Draft Lists between Monday (~6 pm PDT) and today (~5 pm PDT) (~48 hours).
