Right, so clearly Toyama didn't trade it away. And no free agent signed in the offseason stands out as someone worth a 1st round pick. Guess I will find out tomorrow.

What Mark has posted is the accurate list as far as I can tell. I tried to stay on top of it all year, since the last draft... It has been current essentially all off-season and in-season.

I'll put some research into the Toyama issue, but do keep in mind that the in-game order is always wrong and the StatsLab order is not correct, usually, until the last minute when the Commish inputs the traded picks...

EDIT:

I see no reason why Toyama would have lost their pick. The Win-D's apparently have not made a trade since Jan of 2023, and even if they had signed a comp eligible FA (Javier Cruz??), wouldn't their pick have been protected?

Either Javier Cruz or Lorenzo Amador might have been compensation-eligible FAs....I assume we'd have to consult an old archived version of the league file to be certain.

But if so, is there a rule that some teams' picks are protected in that situation? I don't remember that being the case.

EDIT: OK, looks like James mentions it from a thread in September:
Longshoremen wrote:The way comp picks work now under the newish CBA rules, the team losing the comp FA doesn't actually get the pick of the team that signed the FA - the team that signed the FA loses its first round pick or second round pick (the top half of the first round is supposed to be protected), and the team that signed the FA gets a sandwich pick between the first or second round.

That's a change from the last CBA IRL that I believe we followed here, right?
So in theory if Toyama's pick was in the first half of the first round it should have been protected and they would only lose their second-round pick (assuming they had signed a compensation-eligible FA).

I'm perplexed by this whole draft list thing. The list Patrick posted - I assume it's from StatsLab, isn't perfect (No fault of Patrick) - I have already, in 5 minutes of parsing found a player on that draft list who has signed a contract with Scotland: Sergej Op den Kamp (great name), who is on Scotland's SA roster...

Patrick,

How did you come about this list? I think it was the remains of last years draft that was up in StatsLab since the draft feature became available a few days ago - it seems many of these players are already on PEBA Affiliates... And I do not see hardly any of this years names on the list - and some of the numbers don't jive - undrafted guys vanishing (like Coy Anderson)...

I pulled the player names and ids from statslab on Wed night. Perhaps it was out of date at that point? nuts. It's awful late to run through whole drill again.... oy vey

edit:update: I just pulled the batter and pitcher lists from statslab and they are different. looks like they've been updated since I ran the first ones on Wed night. I've attached a new list form the latest statslab listings

Yeah, Wednesday it was showing last season's leftovers - you could tell because it was still showing the list of players you had drafted...

Thanks for the update!!! Now, is there time for some magic manipulation...??

It is still very out of sync with the draft pool within OOTP, which is where I have always created my lists from for my special formula-riddled spreadsheet. This is going to be a very unsatisfying draft, I fear.

Perhaps we should postpone it until we have consistent lists. No reason to rush ahead as if the deadline were meaningful. The whole purpose of the league is to have fun, and if the draft is going to cause problems ...

Draft order for rounds 1-3 is set.

Every season we go through this with the draft pools.

This entry was in error:
Aurora and Duluth: December 6, 2025
Duluth Receives:
2B Harley Schneider
SP Eric Perkins

Aurora Receives:
CF Tomás Flores
Crystal Lake's 4th Round 2026 Draft Pick
This should read Duluth's 4th Round Pick. Canton has Crystal Lake's.

The original trade post had it right:

Morris, were you quoting the Trade Tally? I see that I goofed there - I'll fix that, but was it correct in the Traded Pick Forum?

I see that by StatsLab it was, but it doesn't seem to have been posted for importing...
