As we wait for our championship sim, it's interesting to point out that a few weeks ago the Kuwana Steel Dragons won the Paul Moots Cup. They beat the Manchester Maulers who had previously won the first 2 seasons of the WIL.

Gotta say - I feel your pain, Duane...

Congrats to both teams for an exciting run, and incredible Game 7! Great Job Mark, I think you were the most balanced team in the SL all year - and it showed as you took down the Evil Evas, Aurora and a strong KTY squad. I think that with both teams making it to the final, it shows that with perseverance and strong leadership, any team can win... well, and with a little touch of luck.

I wish that we could vote for two first place GM's in the voting - both you guys are very deserving!!

Wow! I really can't fathom us coming back from 3-1 to win it all. I removed all my pitchers form rotation and put in Hernandez my starter as Reliever kind of what the RedSox did when they won a few years back. Gustavo and Scheider pulled this team through the whole playoffs. Ishikawa as DH has done a great job and winning it in 11th makes it even better.

This was an amazing series and close (stressful in a sense). Thanks to Duane for a really tough series and I look forward to next year!!

Cannot agree with this more.

KY has yet to finish first in their division always flying under the radar behind Florida, but damn do they look scary moving forward.

And for Mike to jump into the gm seat (experienced or not) and lead the team to a championship through a very tough SL is incredible.

Both teams clearly deserved to be in that game 7.

Shoutout to Roberto Cisneros who was traded to Duluth mid-season and finally decided to wake-up during the playoffs just in time with 2 hits and a run.

KY is going to be a beast for many years. Cisneros had been cold all series and glad he woke up.

Wow, what an epic series this has been! Great job by both Duane and Mark to get their teams to this point past favored opposition, and then a super comeback by the Warriors to take the Cup.
