Good thing it's 2026...

Dewey defeats Truman!
Yeah, in game shows Kentucky as champs. Hope that gets fixed.

Still shows it in game after update :(

I have to express some concern over where things stand. Obviously we had a major glitch with the previous sim - suddenly Kentucky is hoisting the Rodriguez Cup, but instead of fixing that, we've plowed ahead. I don't know if I should be making offers - which I may have to re-submit if we back-track and fix the PEC blooper, or if I should wait. Will we be changing the contract rules before we move forward - thus I can adjust was I may offer, or are we moving ahead as we are (contact rules-wise).

Could we please get some leadership from leadership so we know where we stand?

So.

This seems like a bit of an existential crisis.

Did the outcome of the 2026 season just get permanently changed?

I'm worried that PEBA seems to be DOA.

I tend to agree. I completely understand people get busy, but communication is definitely needed after everything we discussed.

We have pressing decisions that need to be made, we have a new member still waiting for a team, we have trades waiting for processing (not sure if trading is open and the league winner changed.. If more help is needed with operating the league, then let’s get those people into the right positions to help.

I also wonder is we are allowed to sign free agents now.

Free agency start Dec 8th

I hope we fix these issues quickly as I do not know what to do with my team, 20 something arbs and peba article waiting on links in stats lab to be fixed. So many issues and no communication.

Would it make sense to have a stickied "Sim Issues" thread? That way, any issues can be posted in there without Morris needing to dig through this thread to find all of the issues.

Yeah, I just realized I don't recall if we have agreed on changes to contract offer rules, etc... and I would like to extend a couple players that are coming up for arbitration.

That plus the issue with Kentucky showing up as champs seems like enough of an issue that I'm feeling kinda frozen in what to do here.

Hope to hear something soon.

Hopefully in the future real-life Nov. 13th sim, Víctor Carrillo does not opt out of his Codgers contract like he did in the alternate-reality Kentucky championship timeline :-o

Quick reminder to get David into the game and on to the forums this sim if possible.

I know I'd be getting anxious to go in and sort out my roster.

Looks like San Juan was on that list of unhappy owners, deciding to walk away right after the decision was made.

That was just the game owner that left and was replaced immediately. You can pay contribution points to change owners but sometimes it happens naturally in game.
