League Status?

#1 Post by Alleghenies »

Has the board talked at all?
Has anyone volunteered?
Are we just waiting in limbo?
Do we know anything?

These questions and more will be answered on the next episode of SOAP...

Hopefully, at a minimum, we are waiting for Dan to find some time to sim (?) so we can move past the final regular season sim. At least once we reach the post-season we've more flexibility with fewer GMs involved per sim...

This last sim decides if I make playoffs or not, so this has turned into the biggest cliffhanger. :-o

Kind of exciting, eh?

Stay tuned.

Really hoping this league continues, it looks great. Hopefully a little update might be useful?

Our immediate challenge is working around a scheduling quirk that began our postseason before all teams finished their regular season schedule. Reg struggled with this for a while, but a solution didn't present itself.

Dan will be taking a crack at it, when he has time, but he has real life concerns to attend to as well right now. If Dan isn't able to work a fix, we'll have to appeal to a higher power at Ootp.

We aren't in limbo, exactly, but we likely won't be able to move things forward for a few more days.

I guess we will just have to call the final few games as wins for Hartford, granting them a wildcard spot. ;-D

But seriously, thanks for the update Morris! Hopefully, we can get the issue resolved soon.

It seems to me a number of scheduling quirks came about when we contracted teams out to the WIL. What teams have the trouble games? Can we just reschedule them as double headers?

Crickets.....

Well an update with WV. This may be my ending of the league too. I am very discouraged by what has happened again in our league. With 4 board members, you'd think someone could have run the sims by now.
