Well... Someone needs to get this party started!!

Imperial League

Seaboard
1. Arlington
2. West Virginia
3. Hartford
4. Canton

I think the 'Crats might still have enough to hold off WV, but I would not be surprised if the Alleghenies win this division with the strength of their starting pitching...

Dixie
1. Florida
2. Kentucky
3. New Orleans
4. San Antonio

Hopefully a strong spring translate into a better showing for NO, though Florida may win this one by default...

Trans Atlantic
1. Havana
2. San Juan
3. Amsterdam
4. London
5. Claymores

Still a tough division to call - at the top, but I like the progress Havana has made... Scotland is coming off a historically poor year and it's a deep hole...

IL Awards Winners
Royal Raker Winner: ???
Golden Arm Winner: ???
Wunderkind Winner: ???

Sovereign League

Great Lakes
1. Crystal Lake
2. Duluth
3. Fargo
4. Kalamazoo

The 'Gnats have been busy little... 'Gnats, and that should keep them solidly a top this division. I think Nigel will keep Duluth close and challenge for a playoff spot...

Desert Hills
1. Aurora
2. Palm Springs
3. Bakersfield
4. Reno
5. Yuma

I see no real change here, and it seems (I'm sorry to say) that #2-5 may have taken steps backwards... I still think the Codgers may challenge for a wild card...

Rising Sun
1. Shin Seiki
2. Toyama
3. Okinawa
4. New-Tokyo

Shin Seiki, with all their changes, should win this division by September 1... OK, maybe I exaggerate, but it's hard not to see this division as not so close... Like 2024, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Win-D's and Shisa flip positions...

SL Awards Winners
Royal Raker Winner: Andres Hernandez - SS
Golden Arm Winner: 'Train Arollin''' - Aurora
Wunderkind Winner: ???

Postseason

IL Wild Card
WV over San Juan in 4 games

SL Wild Card Winners
Toyama over Duluth in 4 games

IL Division Series Winners
West Virginia over Florida in 6 games
Arlington over Havana in 6 games

SL Division Series Winners
Aurora over Toyama in 6 games
SS over Crystal Lake in 7 games

League Championship Series Winners
IL: WV over Arlington in 7 games - pitching wins championships and Gunner and 'Mayor' are too much...
SL: Aurora over SS in 7 games - a blood bath series...

PEC Winner
Aurora over West Virginia in 6 games - 'Tugboat' outduels 'Mayor' in game 6...

I wish the AI hadn't signed Jesus Lopez to such a huge deal this offseason. His 4.4 WAR will help near-term but we have a ton of outfielders and he's getting near $30M/year towards the end of the deal. We signed a few smaller pieces that could add a couple wins but they are pretty small moves. We lost James Heard but the analyst side of me thinks we're going to be a better ballclub just by not playing guys out of position. And we're replacing Heard with a platoon that should equal his production (hopefully). That being said, I think a jump from 74 to 84 wins is the best case. So #3 seems like our maximum upside this year. But... I don't know jack about the PEBA yet so I'll obstain from making any other predictions because they'll be way off. Play ball!

My first year making predictions....

Imperial League

Seaboard
1. West Virginia
2. Arlington
3. Hartford
4. Canton

I see the Mayor making one last big push for his career to take WV to the top

Dixie
1. Florida
2. Kentucky
3. New Orleans
4. San Antonio

New Orleans take a step forward this year. This is Florida's year. Munoz blasts them over the top.

Trans Atlantic
1. San Juan
2. Havana
3. Amsterdam
4. Claymores
5. London

Dare I say the Claymores do not finish last this season. Despite their horrific record, as I care-taked... they slowly improved when I took over after the break. I think they squeak it out at the bottom.

IL Awards Winners
Royal Raker Winner: Pat Barry, Arlington
Golden Arm Winner: Manuel Corona, WV - The Mayor's last hurrah
Wunderkind Winner: Jorge Jimenez, Arlington

Sovereign League

Great Lakes
1. Crystal Lake
2. Duluth
3. Fargo
4. Kalamazoo

I have to call CL at the top. I am nervous about the moves I made. I think Duluth will give us a run for our money. This might come down to who stays healthy. I see Fargo as improved as well. Kalamazoo will be a force in years 3-5 from now.

Desert Hills
1. Aurora
2. Palm Springs
3. Bakersfield
4. Reno
5. Yuma

Unfortunately, I still see Aurora at the top ;) Just kidding Mike. I think the Codgers may pull a surprise depending on who stays healthy. Can Aurora stay hot all season or will they tail off at the end like last season? If so, The Codgers could give them a run.

Rising Sun
1. Shin Seiki
2. Okinawa
3. Toyama
4. New-Tokyo

Shin Seiki takes it all here. They are my favorite to win the SL this year. I think Okinawa is most improved, but SS improved enough to stay ahead..

SL Awards Winners
Royal Raker Winner: Mike Britt, Aurora
Golden Arm Winner: Miguel Cantu, Crystal Lake
Wunderkind Winner: Ruben Jimenez, Kalamazoo

Postseason

IL Wild Card
Arlington over Kentucky in 4 games.

SL Wild Card Winners
Duluth over Okinawa in 5 games

IL Division Series Winners
Florida over Arlington in 5 games
West Virginia over San Juan in 4 games

SL Division Series Winners
Crystal Lake over Aurora over in 6 games - just because, in memory of Yogi 2023
SS over Duluth in 5 games - SS rolls on

League Championship Series Winners
IL: Florida over WV in 7 games - offense for Florida puts them over the top in 7
SL: SS over CL in 4 games - not even close

PEC Winner
Florida over SS in 7 games - This is Florida's shot for 2025.

I am back in the predicting game! Looking to take my second victory this year 8)

2025 Predictions:

Imperial League

Seaboard
1. West Virginia
2. Arlington
3. Hartford
4. Canton
WV is the IL team to beat in my opinion. This division has quality teams top to bottom, however.

Dixie
1. Florida
2. Kentucky
3. San Antonio
4. New Orleans
Florida is the heavy favorite here with their usual solid club. Kentucky seems to hang in there every year despite losing stars to free agency.

Trans Atlantic
1. San Juan
2. Havana
3. Amsterdam
4. Scottish
5. London
I will be extremely bitter if Espinosa revives his career in Scotland after his Palm Springs tank job last season.

IL Awards Winners
Royal Raker Winner: 1B Rob Raines ARL
Golden Arm Winner: SP Gunner MacGruder WV
Wunderkind Winner: SP Enrique Vázquez HAV

Call me a starry-eyed dreamer, looking for Royce's older brother to put it all together one last time.

Sovereign League

Great Lakes
1. Crystal Lake
2. Duluth
3. Fargo
4. Kalamazoo
It's just not the Great Lakes Division without CL on top. This will be the tightest race in the SL though.

Desert Hills
1. Aurora
2. Palm Springs
3. Bakersfield
4. Reno
5. Yuma
A shrinking budget and GM incompetence have put thoughts of challenging Aurora out of the Codgers' reach. Bakersfield could well leapfrog us in fact.

Rising Sun
1. Shin Seiki
2. Okinawa
3. Toyama
4. Neo-Tokyo
The trades for Webb and Hernandez immediately made Shin Seiki the prohibitive favorites to take the Rodriguez Cup in my opinion.

SL Awards Winners
Royal Raker Winner: 1B Dave Petersen PS
Golden Arm Winner: SP Michel Provost AUR
Wunderkind Winner: 1B Jose Luna SS
