RJ, we are Old PEBA Hats at deep post-season baseball on the Front Range!!

I have to say, that 4-game 'come back' by the 'Gnats pitching staff may be the greatest performance in PEBA history? Really unbelievable!!! We'll hang our hats on the hope that that stretch can't possibly continue (but it's post-season and anything is possible, right??). We had the edge over the season - even if the offensive stats told a different tale, but then so did Duluth!

Hopefully it'll be a balmy 37° in Aurora and there'll be no snow delays...

Brutally tough luck for the Evil Eva's, but I know Kevin is on a mission and is no doubt chomping at the bit to get the offseason rolling... be afraid... be very afraid - no matter who wins in 2025, Shin Seiki is still my preseason favorite for 2026...

A pair of taut games treated the chilly fans on The Front Range as Aurora and Crystal Lake split the opening pair - Aurora unable to come all the way back from an early rocky start by 'Tugboat', followed by a gem from 'Train Arollin''... Off to 'GnatLand, with Carlos Rivera trying to continue his recent solid run of playoff games.

And with that, Aurora is ready to Rock 'n Roll for Games 3, 4, & 5...

Hartford squeezed by in game 1 only to be shut-out I game 2. The staff isn't hemorrhaging runs and the offense is trying to cope without a key player, Hartford won't go down quietly!

Exported and ready to go.

I'll be ready later today guys. Sorry to be last!

I had to sit out Jerry Long for game 2 because of a day-to-day injury, so I need to shuffle things around. I doubt having him in the lineup for game 2 would have made much of a difference against Tugboat anyways. Great series so far Mike.

Game 1 - 37 degrees

Game 2 - 34 and rain. Lovely.

Next up balmy suburban Chicago!

Also, nice to see former CL favorite, Yogi Robles, pitch a shutout for Florida.

It might be lost on some that Crystal Lake is the defending cup champion.

You just need to come up with a snazzy little saying to make the pain a little less painful - sorta like, "Oh... Endo, rhymes with Oquendo..." (circa 2011 PEC)... Maybe something like, "Robles... makes Aurora Nobles"... You know??
