Re: Each Team's GM History

#3 Post by Reg »

This thread is now unlocked!
I made a bunch of updates in here, including statistics for GM's that their years in PEBA/LRS have been confirmed.
I will be adding more info, some "Top 10" lists, interesting records etc... as more and more info comes in (and as I put more time in).

Looking at the post above with the GM history of each team, are there any missing bits and pieces that anyone can confirm?
I figured it could be a fun discussion thread on anything PEBA/LRS history! 8)

I didn’t know that. Guess I’d better begin preparing the Yuman Beings for the awful burden psychologically of a Rodriguez Cup.

Very cool to have this kind of information available, including the list of former teams. The guy I hired as manager for the Claymores played for Charleston many years back (3 games, 2.2 innings) and I spent a long time trying figure out if one of the current teams had moved from there or what the deal was. Now I know where to look for that kind of info!

Yeah Vic, all the teams listed as Former PEBA are now part of the Independent WIL, found in-game. I believe their team histories are still intact - though I never looked...

I can fill in those two blank champions' GMs. Michael Czosnyka led the Hitmen in 2007, while Kevin Lewis helmed the 2011 Florida Featherheads.

It wasn't Mike - he joined the same day I did...

Thanks John!

So, both Michael C. and Kevin Lewis were "original" GM's from 2007?

Not Mike C, he began in 2009 with me - we joined on the same day!!

Kevin Lewis, who beat Aurora in my first season, wasn't original, but I believe ran Florida from the beginning...

No, the original Florida owner was a fellow named Peter Matulis, who ran the club during the first season in 2007. He was followed by a Jason Parker for 2008, then Kevin Lewis took over starting in 2009.

That whole thread might be worth trolling through for possible details of any missing early-years GMs.
