Nearing New Book Series Launch … Here’s How You Can Help

#1 Post by roncollins »

You might notice I’ve gotten a shade quieter here these past couple weeks. Maybe? Dunno. Anyway, what I’m trying to say is that I’m getting ready to release a new 5-book SF series in late November, and time is flying. A few details of the series are here … more to come.

If you’re an SF lover and interested in helping me out, I’m looking to get a Launch Team arranged (who get free advanced copies in return for providing reviews in the first days of release (there are no strings on the review content!).

The call for volunteers is going out in the next day or two (I do all or most of this through my newsletter). If you’re interested in free stuff and in joining this group, you should sign up for it here.

I can’t begin to tell you how critical these first few days of a book’s launch are, so thanks in advance for anyone who hops into it!

Oh man, as a general space enthusiast throughout my youth and adulthood, the "Stealing the Sun" series seems interesting!

It's a semi-realistic representation of "true space" fiction (200 years in the future?)... done in a way that hopefully didn't let the space get in the way of the story. :)

Ron,

Reporting for beta-reading duty. Just got your newsletter and replied... but there was no way to actually write in the body of the reply, fyi.

Anyway, looking forward to some a rollicking good tale!

Thanks, Mike...I've got you on the list now.

Reg - was that an interest in being on the Launch Team, or just a "can't wait to see it?" Either way is fine, but I don't want to miss you if you're interested.

Excellent! I need you to either send me your email (to ron -at- typosphere.com) or use the link above to join my mailing list. The mailing list gets you on any information I release (and occasional offers of free stuff). I try not to spam. :) Either one works, though. And thanks!

I didn't realize I needed to confirm via my email. Now it should be complete.

It's never too late! Launch date is November 29. I think I sent you the links, but let me know if they didn't make it.

Confirming is obviously not absolutely required, but helpful so we can keep the cats is some semblance of herding. And so we can pass on a few extra, unannounced goodies. :)

Wow, I did get your email in early September but didn't see it. Sorry. I have it now! What's the latest date at which you can take edits/comments?
