Harpoon wrote:Hey Guys,

My name is Steve Bell and it looks like I'll be running the Hartford Harpoon here in the PEBA. This is actually my first OOTP online league (I could be joining another here shortly as well) and I'm very excited to get started. Once I get my login information for the website, I'll get working on my first article for the league and officially begin my tenure as GM of the Harpoon.

About me personally; I am 35 years old and live just outside of Jackson, TN, building homes for a living. (though the days are starting to feel a little longer than they used to :()
WELCOME STEVE!

I was the founder of the Hartford Harpoon, relocated to the Hog River City from Omaha. Good luck and do me proud!

I think you're mistaken. Jason never played in Merle Haggard's band to the best of my knowledge. :-B

Hey guys how's it going! I have been recruited over here to take control of Amsterdam.... I am fairly new to OOTP but not new to sims as I have been playing WIS HD for the last 5 years. I had joined that as a way to kill time during chemo and was immediately hooked although in recent months I have personally grown tired of it there. I'm 39 yrs old, recently moved to Ridgefield, CT where we welcomed our 2nd baby boy into the world just three short weeks ago in which I have slept about 8 hours total... I love sports, gaming, beer (both drinking and making), my family and life in general... the order of which can be interchanged hourly. That's a short summary of me and I look very much forward to being a part of this league!!

Ok, now let me see what I got myself into here...

Welcome! This is a bit of an addictive place to be as a baseball fan. Great to have you here, and feel free to browse around.

Also, congrats on the new addition to the family!

I am not a Yankee fan by any stretch, but that must have been a heck of a time, especially during that era!

So you're from Connecticut, Chris? You should have been here when the Amsterdam Lions were the Connecticut Nutmeggers! But we're happy to have you, anyway. Welcome to the team! ;-D

That's what I was thinking! Raise a glass to the long-lost 'Meggers...

Welcome Chris! Amsterdam has been a pretty strong franchise of late so you are in a good spot.
