Grabbing my popcorn and a beer.
My three free agent signings all all-stars. Feels good man.

Edit: two free agent signings... Amador was from the old regime... Still this off season tho.

The Sovereign League All-Stars take the field and the anthem plays. Yakamochi Suitani begins his warm up tosses in front of his hometown crowd.

I believe the floodlights are flickering a bit, there may be a slight technical hitch in the bowels of the stadium

The grounds crew gives the thumbs up and the game is now underway!

Arlington's Pat Barry leads off the game for the Imperial League All-Stars with a fly-out to short LF.

James Heard strikes out on a 1-2 slider up in the zone.

Don Mercer hits a chopper to third for the 3rd out.

Amsterdam's John Matthews take the mound for the IL.

Paul Carlisle strikes out on a 97 MPH heater low-and-away.

Rafael Suarez chops to second for the second out. Matthews is amped up - that last pitch was 98 MPH!

Mike Britt hits a soft liner to left for a two-out single.

Wilson Munoz taps out to Matthews to end the inning.

End of 1st: IL 0 - SL 0
