CP Tracker 2027

Find below my preliminary CP Tracker, cobbled together the best I could. After some consultation, it was determined that considering the difficult season/offseason it would be appropriate to give all GMs who made it through to the end the full export/diligence points. Blogs and articles were an easy count - I hope we can do better in the coming season? I know I can do better. Attendance at the draft I based on the published logs and the Winter Meeting I based on memory and trades - correct me here if I'm wrong. Votes are tracked by StatsLab, and Minor League success and Financial success come from OOTP.

I am awaiting a forum post number for everyone to finalize this. I'm posting this now, so you can have an idea and begin planning on your reward. It would be ideal if we could get these in before Migration (12/19-21), but before Spring Training (1/2/19) will be acceptable.

I want to remind (some) folks that CP rolled-over totals cannot exceed 600. Yuma, Kentucky and New Orleans all have totals well exceeding 700, that will be rolled back to 600. You earn those points, guys, lets spend them!!

As always, if you catch an error, holler...

Everything looks good for Toyama. And my inner OCD is loving the clean, color-coded layout of this tracker. ;-D

Great chart and great work.

My only question is on Forum posts. Aurora is the only org to get points in that category? That seems off.

I actually completely overlooked that when I glanced at it. Though I think he is still working through those as he didn't put a check above that column.

I had 107 forum posts in that time period so Toyama should have 35 CP from that.

No worry Kevin - the chart was based on my personal chart I used to track so that I could plan ahead. I know everyone else has some magnitude of posts, as mentioned above, I just need to figure out how to get that number. Worst case scenario, we just skip that number. I really don't want to hand count all those posts...

I can hand count them, just give me a few minutes.

Thanks Dylan! Is there no way of letting the forum do it? I was searching the 'net, but it was all way over my head...

Nah, there's isn't really an easy way, but here is what I counted for 4/21 - 11/18. I didn't count Okinawa as I wasn't sure if Morris actually considered himself in control of them.
3 CP per post

AUR: 159 posts, 53 CP
CAN: 11 posts, 3 CP
CL: 89 posts, 29 CP
DUL: 62 posts, 20 CP
FAR: 19 posts, 6 CP
HAV: 15 posts, 5 CP
KEN: 29 Posts, 9 CP
NO: 4 posts, 1 CP
NT: 32 posts, 10 CP
PS: 50 posts, 16 CP
REN: 32 posts, 10 CP
SCO: 3 posts, 1 CP
SJ: 34 posts, 11 CP
SS: 82 posts, 27 CP
TOY: 92 posts, 30 CP
WV: 51 posts, 17 CP
YUM: 26 posts, 8 CP

That's awesome!! Thanks Dylan!! I'll try to get that updated shortly, before I head out... I'd say count Okinawa's non-business posts... they are already getting the benefit of points in other areas that as commish are mandatory (exports, attendance...)...

Thanks to Dylan's assistance, the CP tracker is now up to date and I believe to be accurate. Any 2028 CP will accumulate from November 19, 2018 through the coming Winter Meetings 2028 (sometime in June?).

If you've got CP, use it!!! It can make a difference. Just ask former Aurora starters 'Massacre' and Junior Cook. Both had successful careers, I think, by simply adding a change to their repertoire. I think little things can be profound. Nothing good happens from collecting cyber dust (or is that digital dust, just to be alliterative).

You may now begin posting in the CP Rewards forum your reward selections - please title them 'Team Name 2027 CP Rewards', to be consistent with the previous posts. As mentioned above, by Migration would be splendid, but not a hard deadline.

Now I just have to figure out how we have determined these changes over the years... Reg? Do you have that info??

I think the constitution is up to date with the latest CP rewards. I cleaned that area of the Constitution up not too long ago.

I think the only outstanding CP rewards issue is the Winter Ball log which doesn't include the last offseason. So just double check that before picking players.

No... I have it here - the last post is last season...

But we can probably import Morris' file and update it, too...

Forum post tracking should be easier next offseason - I've gone through the forums and noted everyones post count beginning 11/19/18 on the 2028 Tracker (subtracting posts back to that date from the current count), and will enter your totals come the end of WM 2028.

Thanks to Duane's assistance, I was able to dig out this obvious solution to the accounting problem. Merci...

Also, I believe there was the intention to have Minor League Players of the Year as part of the CP - I've added that back in for 2028 (10 CP)

I've also located the Winter Ball 'key' so I think I'm ready to roll there, as well...

Kevin-

As I am working on the rewards, I came across a confusing issue: the whole L/R issue. For instance, there is Improve Eye for 50, then there is Improve Eye v. L/R for 65 - what does this exactly mean and of course that stands for the rest of the L/R items...
