“He knows what he did; he’s always had it out for me because I own him,” stated Jarrod ‘Merlin’ Ricks in the post game press conference after being hit in the head by a pitch in the 4th inning by Okinawa SP Bill Lewis. “Did you see that first pitch in the 2nd inning?!… you would figure he wouldn’t try to hit me in the wizard staff?!,” ranted on Ricks.

Ricks charged the mound after being hit causing both dugouts to clear in a huge brawl. Pitching coach Tom Labelle could be seen throwing first base at bench coach Jaime Barrón as the brawl ensued with Barrón throwing a bag of sunflower seeds at Labelle.

Lewis had no comment stating to me after the game, “Heskin you’re a hack.”

Both Ricks and Lewis have been handed down 5 game suspensions for their part. No comment from PEBA how this memorable incident might be handled.
